Hard to argue with most of these. I do think Strangers in the Night by UFO should be on the list for sure. Maybe it doesn't need 2 Dead albums?

A few other possible candidates:

The Doors - Absolutely Live

Robin Trower - Live

Foghat - Live

Rush - Exit Stage Left

Rush - All The World's a Stage

Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Live Rust

What say you?

Meh, some hits, some misses. Just mho.

My list:

Live at Leeds (Who), Live at Filmore East (Allman Bros.), Performance (Humble Pie), Welcome Back My Friends (ELP), Kick Out the Jams (MC 5), and of course, ESL.

Max Webster - Live Magnetic Air.

love the mention of the Max Machine but I felt a bit underwhelmed when it was released. No The Party/Beyond the Moon/Toronto Tontos/High Class. I guess basically I needed a double live album, but what is there is great.

If you haven't heard it yet, I recommend seeking out the Vancouver Commodore Ballroom show from 1978. It's a radio broadcast that serves up all that was missing from LMA

I mainly listen to rock so many of those records I've never heard

The live records that meant most to me

Rush ATWAS

Kiss Alive

Nugent Double Live Gonzo

Deep Purple Made in Japan

Zappa/Mothers Roxy and Elsewhere

Jethro Tull Bursting Out

These kinds of lists usually snub the proggy stuff. I was surprised by a couple of these choices, I guess.

I'd also consider Donny Hathaway Live, Genesis Three Sides Live (the version with the fourth side live), John Hiatt Comes Alive at Budokan, and . . . maybe . . . Live Killers by Queen, although I haven't listened to it in a while. I'd consider Floyd at Pompeii, because I think that version of Echoes is pretty great.

Good additions. Live Killers would make my list right off.
