Rambo ripping out that soldier’s throat was brutal. Given the whole Merc scenario in IV, I kind of think that it influenced Sly to do Expendables even more. I recommend to watch the DVD commentary for anyone who really likes First Blood. Oh, Sly really did sew his arm up in that one scene.
