blueschica
I've seen a few postings about this documentary. Boy howdy, it looks good! I was always a big Creem reader as well, along with Rolling Stone when it did actual interviews and had real writers. We will be watching the movie this weekend! Principled Man
Hit Parader, Creem and Circus were my magazines of choice in the 70’s. If I recall correctly, Geddy wouldn’t do interviews with Creem, due to some very negative articles by certain Creem employees. I do remember one writer’s article, which was quite ignorant. He blasted the lyrics of Limelight, and then he went further in his criticism of the band. He just didn’t get it .....
The Cat 3
Hit Parader, Creem and Circus were my magazines of choice in the 70’s. Same here. They were like chapters of scripture being delivered to my post box each month.

blueschica
We watched it over the weekend and really enjoyed it! When I read it when I was younger I really didn't get that it was the product of the one guy that started it, along with Lester Bangs and Dave Marsh. It was very entertaining and I enjoyed the history.
