My relic of a laptop just took a dump and will no longer boot because some component of the Windows operating system is now missing.... "the black screen of death"

By any chance, does anybody who has operated computers over the years have a Windows 7 Professional install disc?

I know this is a really long shot but why not try, eh?

Rock on!

Just thinking ..... It you are familiar with torrent sites, perhaps you can 'acquire' a copy there.

Is the Windows 7 "Product Key" displayed on a tag on the back of the computer?
If so, you can download a free ISO right from the Microsoft website. Then use your product key to register it.

We did before we moved.  Sorry.   I would gladly send it to you if I still had it.
