Actor Spotlight: Forest Whitaker

Forest Whitaker’s a dude who I don’t think has ever been discussed here even though he’s definitely been in enough movies.

 

A small but memorable role in the classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Probably don’t need the set up as most of you know what went down:

Always a pleasure to see on a marquee! What a diverse credits list this guy has. I like his robber-with-a-conscience in Panic Room, his earnest young guy in Good Morning, Vietnam, and I would recommend his small role in a film from the mid-1990s called Smoke, with Harvey Keitel.

Yup, he’s quality in Panic Room and Good Morning, Vietnam. Slides right into those roles.

 

I’ve never seen Smoke though. Will keep that in mind :cheers:

Street Kings is an underrated gritty cop drama. One of the better dramatic performances from Keanu as well.
