“Selling England By the Pound” (Gabriel era)

“A Trick of the Tail” (Collins era)

This could have been two polls, pre and post Gabriel.

I happen to really enjoy both versions.

I love Phil Pop Genesis. Abacab gets my vote, despite the inclusion of "Who Dunnit?", one of the most incessantly annoying songs ever recorded.

Hahahaha, how true is that?!

scrap all the poopoo, combine the good songs on duke and abacab, and you'd have a great album. kinda like blizzard and diary without the hair metal

This thread was supposed to be about only one band, and group, which is Genesis, and not any other like Judas Priest, but since Judas Priest had to come into the above post, and no one else has said something, so far, then I'll say a little something about them.  For clarifying that, in the 1980's, Judas Priest haven't ever done any types of cash-in attempts.  Now, back to the topic.  In answer to the question, I haven't had a studio Genesis c.d., and album as my favorite.  Not including "Calling All Stations", I like all of the other ones as the best.
