I guess I am a diehard Van Halen fan... of the first 6 albums...
and ADKOT. Give less crap about compression, 'cause the album is heavy.

Has more versatility to his voice than most people realize. Whether it's arena rock anthems, a soft ballad, dark and sinister or humorous, Alice pulls it all off in a way few vocalists can.

Are we using "singer" in the technical sense?  If no, then it's DLR by miles.  If we are, none of them are really great "singers," IMO.
