One of Bowie's signature tunes versus one of Elton's signature tunes, both from 1972.
Take your pick.

Strange matchup as the songs are so different.  Had it been Levon I would go for Elton, but Changes is the more interesting of these two.

Both are overplayed.

Respect for Bowie - an artist who kept growing and changing to the very end.

But Tiny Dancer is a beautiful fully realized pop song.

Changes is fantastic but admittedly I’d pick TD if there were only those two songs in the jukebox.

Massive Bowie fan, but I never really cared for Changes until I found out who it was by. Tiny Dancer on the other hand I've loved since first listen. This would be harder if the Bowie tune were Life On Mars.

Bowie for the win.  A great song from a great album.

Elton's Tiny Dancer is great too and on a fantastic album but I have a lot of memories attached to Hunky Dory.

Almost a coin toss although I'd always spend that coin on Tiny Dancer as well.

I ended up changing my vote like 3 times- I really love them both!  I voted Tiny Dancer, though, because of some sentimental memories that go with it.  It's really a tie, though.

I like Elton just fine.  He's not anywhere close to Bowie for me.  Whenever I do a deep dive into Bowie's work I'm reminded of how much I like him.
