laughedatbytime
Legendary coach. Perfect season. Further words fail me. Rest well, sir. https://www.sun-sent...t=chartbeat-fltSad day. But a full life filled with unparalleled success. I may have to watch Super Bowl VII to remember better times. (The full broadcast is on YouTube.) edhunter
He was good, but that perfect season has been way to over-romanticized. That team would be 8-8 at best today.

So the only division they'd even be that good in is the NFC East.I Hell, as frail as old people are, they may not even get there if their games against the Giants wouldn't be early enough in the year. liquidcrystalcompass
Shula can be put in the argument as the greatest of all time. Holds the record for number of wins. He won two Super Bowls and was in the mix for oh so many times. Take a look at his work before the Dolphins. He was one hell of a coach and any mention of overrated is simply ridiculous. Derek19
I've remembered Don, too. He was a really good football coach. My condolences, to his family, and friends. R.I.P., Don.
