I'm surprised to hear all the people saying they couldn't hear his vocals at all. I heard him very clearly in the second chorus.

This is especially noteworthy because this is Geddy's first musical appearance (if i'm not mistaken) since the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction for Yes.

Yep, from 2:25, comes through clearly on my phone anyway.

He also had a short message on the TV special about staying home and staying safe, no footage of that (yet!)

I found the clip here.

However for those that cannot view the clip for geographical restrictions, here's what Geddy says.

I'm Geddy Lee and I'm in isolation at home with my family, my grandson, and my pups. Where - like you - we are witnessing the suffering of so many families due to the loss of their livelihoods. Some of these folks are close to us and some of them are strangers. But one thing's for sure that we're all connected by the same situation that we face. I'm coming down here to my studio to remember how comforting music can be at a time like this. I've toured coast to coast across this wonderful country with my band Rush. And I know how resilient and giving Canadians are. So now is the time to throw a lifeline to those who need us. Food Banks Canada is helping those families who are struggling to put food on the table, so if you feel like you want to help this is a worthy organization. There is a lot going on so take care of yourself. We are going to get through this. Thanks.

An article posted by CTV summarizing the event here.

Huh. So I wonder why he had such a small part in that, I mean so many different people had a solo line or two, maybe he just didn’t want one?
I barely heard him.

Oh I can totally hear his distinctive  warble, lol.

I viewed highlights of the event on CTV's website.

There was individual music performances by major and indie acts, then the virtual group music collaboration which Geddy was a part of, or celebs providing messages of awareness without performing.

It’s honestly kinda disgraceful that crappy pop stars were directly associated with the awesomeness of Geddy.

I'll bet Geddy was thinking of the charitable cause as the main thing, it was nice of so many Canadian artists to appear. But yeah, we all know there is the  Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson etc tier of artists and then there are others.

Here's the Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble page.

Scroll down the page vertically and you'll see Performances and Special Messages & More.

If you click the red arrow to the right, you can scroll horizontally and see who appears.

Some of the acts you mentioned do appear.

If you can't view the clips due to geographical restrictions, there's nothing I can do about that.

Geddy didn't play bass on the song. This is a virtual ensemble cover of 'Lean On Me' by Bill Withers.

Geddy's part was filmed in this studio, where he was surrounded by some of his basses.

That's as bass as you're going to get.

Yes, that was cool to see him in his instrument room!

You can hear him but just barely, because there's somebody yelling over his voice. Rush yet again has been placed on the backburner. And what is Jeremy Roenick doing in this video?

Not sure why we are all getting bent out of shape because you cant hear Geddy, whether you like it or not, he will become less and less OF a prominent figure as time goes by. The real focus is it's a message of hope here people. I'm just happy he is on the video.

Speaking of amazing people, this guy, Captain Tom Moore  who I share a birthday and birthplace is Da MAN.
