Proud to say I've seen 16 of the people on that list. Unfortunately, one of them was not James Marshall Hendrix.

Wow! Ok! I'm jealous.

Could you please write the 16 guitar players you have seen in your life?

Robin Trower 6 times

Jimmy Page twice, once with Zeppelin and once Page&Plant

Gary Moore opened for Rush 1984

Walter Trout opened for Gregg Allman in a small nightclub in Hollywood around '98

Warren Haynes twice in the Allman Bros. Band

David Gilmour 3 times in Pink Floyd

Slash twice with GnR and once in Slash's Snakepit

Robert Cray at The Gorge in '89

Stevie Ray Vaughan 2nd on the bill at the same show as Cray (he headlined)

Ronnie Montrose at a small venue in Portland (750 capacity) about a year before he died (saw Trower there once too)

Pat Travers open for Blue Oyster Cult in Seattle some time in the 80s

Billy Gibbons obviously with ZZ Top I believe 5 times over the years

Kenny Wayne Shepherd twice in smaller venues in San Diego in the 90s

Eric Johnson open for Steve Miller Band about 6-7 years ago

Eric Clapton one time only, Tacoma Dome in '86 (when he was still doing Layla electric like it should be done imo)

Carlos Santana 4 or 5 times over the years

Not to be a dick but your list needs Jeff Healey and especially Derek Trucks

It's ok you aren't a dick, I get it. I did remove Slash for Jeff. I suppose I could continue the list later with a second question added........

And you missed Snowy White Earl from the bands Thin Lizzy and Pink Floyd.

Ugh! I was thinking Snowy was very rock, but yes his solo stuff is bluesy. It's hard to do this right Pat.

Kick one of those other ones out and put Snowy in, AND Tommy Bolin!

Darn Pat! The time has expired on my way to edit my poll! I can't make anymore changes.

73! Is there a way to let me go back in and add more guitar players?

Thanks!

I could start over. I didn't know the time expires when you edit your poll. Should we wait and see if I can get a poll edit extension.

Then I can add everyone's requests. I've written them all down.

I don't know Earl, how many other ones have you got? And who are you going to exclude?

I was going to exclude no one Pat.

I was going to add a question two which would give me 40 new openings.

So far I have 15 more to add.

Let's hope 73 can give me another 24 hours to edit the poll.
