Love the lyrics, even if Steven has touched the subject before. The sound reminds me of the latest No-Man release, which I like a lot. The spoken word part by Elton John is great.

That falsetto shit has got to go.

I literally told a friend "I could listen to Steven's falsetto all day"

awkward

To each their own, as they say. I like Counterparts and Test For Echo and around many parts of this board, that's heresy (not the Heresy).

I love John Carpenter synth and Steve Moore soundtracks too.

Not sure about this either.

Wilson is a genius and still has melody in his music. But he is going too POP! WTF? Never saw this coming.

Seen Porcupine Tree 4 times. Seen Wilson solo twice.

Some say he ruined Opeth.

Now I see why.

Fukk this disco techno.

Pet Shop Tree?

New Order Shopper?

We always loved Geddy's high voice. But this is ridiculous.

"Domino Dancing...."

Yeah, Steven is genius.

Get Porcupine Tree back together.

Yep... To each their own. I'm a whore as Pat knows. I will still buy it. "Deluxe edition box sets." Guilty as charged. I'm fukked. I have Boze noise canceling headphones. Great to play my drums to.

Heresy is far worse than CP or T4E

I can't stand Counterparts but am rather fond of Test For Echo.

Is this his first foray into disco? I kind of like it. There's even a little Disco Duck in there. Then it enters Floyd territory and maybe a little industrial dance electronica. Last but not least, we get some Rush Superconductor keyboard vibe as it rides out. All in all, I like this retro mashup of styles. Falsetto is nice too. Okay maybe not Barry Gibb nice but nice. :)

Amazing how our Rush brains work. We all love the band yet are different. I love "Test For Echo" but too bad it isn't an instrumental album. lol
