The New York Yankees are currently like the San Jose Sharks.  They will always make the playoffs and then fail.  LOL!

Except for the last 3 years they've been eliminated by teams that were cheating at the time. I'm quite certain they'd have beaten the Dodgers at least once and they would have destroyed the Nats.

As compared with the late 90s Yankees, who were "clean."

LOL. Someone sounds bitter that Rogers's juice was better than Papi's...

Not at all.  But for someone who roots for the Yankees to complain about cheaters is kind of funny.  We learned in 2003 that the Yankees great end of the century dynasty was full of juicers.  That doesn't make the Sox clean.  But it does make your complaint a little hollow.

Especially since many fans of them are bashing the Astros.  If the shoe fits.

Now Big Papi is calling Fiers a snitch.  Juicer says, “what?”

Papi is being forced by the Red Sox to toe the company line. He was dying in shithole Dominican hospital until the Red Sox flew him out in a chartered plane. He gave an interview recently where within a few moments of each other he said the Patriots should  just "PAY THE GUY!" referring to Tom Brady, but then gave a bunch of bullshit reasons the Red Sox "needed" to trade Mookie Betts. I can only imagine the blackmail they're holding over him. He was into some nasty shit in the DR.

The Asterisks say they’re sorry. If they mean it, there’s plenty they could do to make this right.  First, they could go to Minute Maid Park and take down the 2017 World Series banner. Then burn it.

Second, they could give away the $429,000 each of them got just for—cough—“winning” that World Series. (The Baseball Assistance Team would be a nice choice.)

Third, they could pawn their World Series rings and give all the money to the former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Mike Bolsinger—who, after getting shelled by the grifting Asterisks during one game in August 2017, never pitched in the bigs again.

More from the above editorial...

When an undefeated Cornell realized it had won a 1940 football game with the help of a fifth down against Dartmouth, the team famously gave back the victory. When the running back Reggie Bush was found to have accepted massive under-the-table gifts to play football at USC, he gave back his Heisman Trophy. When it was revealed that the guys from Milli Vanilli weren’t even singing on their own album, they had decided to give back their Grammy when the Recording Academy beat them to it.

Baseball, you’re no Milli Vanilli.

You'll get no argument here that calling people snitches for exposing cheating is commendable.

The Brewers are reportedly close to signing their new Face of The Franchise, Christian Yelich, to a mega-extension.

7 more years, around $215 million.  He'll be a Brewer through the 2029 season.

Too bad that they won't be able to afford any other top players now....

No trades or opt-outs in Yelich's new contract, but there is a mutual option for 2029.

Nine years of #22 leading the Brewers.  Do you know what this means?

It means that we can buy obscenely-priced Yelich jerseys from mlb.com with CONFIDENCE!!  He ain't going anywhere!!   :haz: :haz:

Christian Yelich's new deal with the Brewers contains a bit of deferred money.

A total of $28 million ($4 million from each year, 2022-2028) will be paid to Yelich until 2042, when he is 50 years old.  :o :o
