RushFanForever
I'm aware that the passing of Neil Peart has impacted all the members of The Rush Forum here. I've read where some members regretted things they've initially posted or didn't consider the pros and cons before they posted something. No pun intended, but at times it's been the scenario of quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand, along with ignorance but prejudice (not so much thank goodness). Someone mentioned to me the concept of the '90 second rule' (explained here). In a way, this concept can be applied to any scenario (face to face conversation, telephone call, email, text, and/or forum posting). Sometimes I wish the world could operate in a common sense way without anger, gas-lighting, hypocrisy, narcissism, etc. My hope for 2020 going forward, is that all of us (members and moderators) can apply the 90 second rule to every aspect of our lives. workingcinderellaman
That's a good rule. I should re-post this in SOCN. ;)
