Eric Johnson & Paul Gilbert - snippet of 'Xanadu' as tribute

Rock instrumental guitarist Eric Johnson performed his Grammy nominated song 'Zap' (1986) in Portland yesterday as an encore with Paul Gilbert as special guest. Near the end of the song, Paul plays a snippet of 'Xanadu', which can be viewed here.

Eric Johnson has drummer Tom Brechtlein on tour, bassist Roscoe Beck, and additional guitarist/pianist/percussionist Dave Scher (local Austin talent).

 

Brechtlein has performed with Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Al DiMeola and Jean Luc Ponty, and Robben Ford.
