thizzellewashington
I've been watching all the DVDs since the news broke the other day, and tonight I watched 'Time Stand Still.' None of it has been hard emotionally for me to revisit because I had made my peace for years that the band was done after the R40 tour. But the end of the documentary, when Neil goes out to the front of the stage for the first time in 40 years to take a final bow with Geddy and Alex, and then they walk off for the last time ... that got me.

You kill me in a good way. I am about to watch it right now. I find it very strange and I must make a note of it on this Forum. I watched "Time Stand Still" on blu-ray one week before Neil's passing. Just a random choice. I always get choked up anyway. Saw it in the theater. Wept. So tonight, I'm going for it. Going to watch it right now. I am facing this head on. Like a "Headlong Flight!" The Four Parts Of Fear have just come to mind. I am listening to "All The Worlds A Stage" and Neil's solo just started. I am just keeping this real. I am connected. I have no fear tonight. I embrace it. Love it. Seeing Neil run to Alex and Geddy in real life blew my mind. A gem of a magical memory. RUSH ON!
