I stumbled upon this recent article here regarding 'six influential songs from the Toronto music scene that helped define the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s', which will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame this month.

The two songs that stand out are:

Both Mandala and Kensington Market were influential to RUSH. See here and

for reference.

On a side note, Klaatu's song "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft" is also being inducted. The band has also worked with Terry Brown.

The Carpenters covered "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft"

as well. Edited by RushFanForever
