Yo! Back From My Ghost Reno Trip! Hi Goose! Sorry My Dad And I Missed You! So Kids! TOOL Twice In La Or DLR In Vegas Once?

I'd advise seeing Tool on their Halley's Comet 2019 Tour.

You can always catch Dave opening for Carrot Top.

Hahahaha!!! Hey Hemi! Did I ever tell you how much I love your screen name? EPIC! Hemispheres and Beers. Two of the greatest things on the Earth!!

I saw Carrot Top at a local fair 10 years ago. He was awful.

I saw Vince Neil at the same fair this summer. It was a disgrace and horrific. He should retire.

As excited as I am to hear some old DLR Band classics I will live.

Would rather drink some beers in LA and watch Danny just go off!

I remember seeing TOOL's last tour at the Oakland Arena. My Goodness, Danny's kit looked like a Seventies Satanic Neil Peart Kit. It was off the charts. Pun intended. Drum charts? lol

Man I think the redundant videos during a TOOL show are my only issue. But I will just zone out and watch the band fuckking shred. I'm pumped!!!! Listening to FEAR now! EPIC MASTERPIECE!

Glad I was wrong when I blasted the band after just one listening to the first track. You know me Hemibeers, I love to jump the gun!!

I also enjoy "Under The Gun." ANIMALIZE!!!

Love,

KISS

I drove 3 hours to a Conn. casino in the 90's to see DLR. He was booed and was very out of tune.

I drove home pissed that I drove 6 hours to see his nonsense.

Love ya 55! My mind is made up. DONE! I can drive to LA in six hours and see TOOL twice.

Christmas is coming in October.

Yep! I'm going there!

Love mentioning all of these bands in one thread, well now it's time to say how much I still love "The Nightmare Before Christmas!" EPIC!

Someday when I retire and have a lot of time I'm going to write screenplays and play my drums.

I'm going to write a sequel to "Nightmare Before Christmas."

It will be titled.....

"The Nightmare After Christmas."

Seeing ghost next month. Will be my third show.

If the choice was Tool or DLR and there was no way to do both, then I would go see Tool. I am guessing the shows are on the same night?

Hello! Thanks for your advice. The shows are not on the same night. Just decided last night to pick one.

After sleeping on it and reading everyone's comments it makes much more sense financial and logistically to see TOOL twice in the Heart Of LA!

DONE!

I saw the 1984 Tour when I was 16. It blew my young mind. However I do get it. Sadly David Lee Roth is a Vegas act, but I love him so.

I saw the "Eat Em And Smile" and "Skyscraper" tours. They were AMAZING! But yes that "Crazy From The Heat" album was backed with pure pop cheese! Great videos though!

Love Diamond Dave but TOOL is the way to go. I can't wait to watch Danny drum for two nights in a row. Holy Shit. "Chocolate Chip Trip!" The new album is amazing to me. Glad I woke up!

Could be Album Of The Year!

Cheers!!!!

I too love Diamond Dave but I think his time has passed.

I think you made the right choice! Now go back to sleep!

Hahahahahaha! I almost choked on my Blue Moon! It's only after 9 pm here! You are so funny! I'm cranking the new TOOL cd. My house is shaking. It's funking incredible.

I'll sleep when I'm dead! LOL!

Signed,

Corpse Bride

In the 21st century I’d see Tool a hundred times before Roth once.

Hahahaha! Of course you would and I agree!!!

You all have given me "Fair Warning." Time for me to get "Sober" and avoid "Prison Sex" at all costs!

I will just "Crawl Away" into some creepy "Swamp Song" and avoid the "Undertow." Another "Flood" will come someday, but until then I will always dream of "Yankee Rose."

"BOTTOMS UP!"

Well, I am an idiot.

I just overbooked shows.

Now it gets really interesting but I have already committed to LA to see TOOL twice.

I have Steve Hackett tix at The Fox in Oakland on Oct 20. Selling England and Spectral albums all the way through.

I've seen Hackett a few times.

If Hackett was doing "Wind" and "Trick" then maybe I would think about it.

But, I just put my tix on Stubhub. Doing a TOOL binge.

Is Hackett playing anything from his new album? It’s really good!

I like the new album too. All I know is that he is playing two albums all the way through.

I saw the Doobies Brothers last week in SF. They played their best two albums all the way through. It was incredible.

I saw The Musical Box last year, which was incredible, but seeing Steve Hackett is still on the to do list as long as Genesis won’t get back together.

Agreed.

Saw Musical Box once. Hackett twice. TOOL five times since their inception.

I'm going for two more TOOL shows.

If Hackett was doing "Trick" and "Wind" all the way through I would probably see the Hackett show and then bolt to LA for a TOOL show.

Instead I'm going to chill and relax. A four day vacation with two TOOL shows. Life is short. Enjoy your lives!! It's not always a picnic but man, I will always carry my musical basket. LOL!

Relaxing is one important thing an individual, a person, and people should be doing. There is even a lot more to life, than going to concerts, too. Earl, if you weren't joking about highjacking threads, you haven't been close to be doing that.

Hahaha! Thanks Derek!! Lately I've been a good boy on the internet. Years ago some forum members would get their panties in a sticky uproar because I would somehow hijack their threads.

So when I hijack my own threads I like to give myself shit because no one on here can get pissy at me for doing it to my own threads!!

Cranking some Robben Ford tonight! KILLER!!!

You are welcome, and anytime, Earl. With some people deciding to get pissed at anything like thread hijacking, it's been their problem, and issue, and not yours. If they were having a bad day, did mind anything like that, and or they have a bad personality, and attitude, then they were the ones, who need to work on the way they are. Since they haven't, and don't like anything like that, then they should go to do something else without having the need to feel like bothering people, or whatever else. When, and if they want to go around doing that on other people's own threads, then they deserve to be treated the same way back. Edited by Derek19

Well stated amigo! This forum is for FUN! I may type in an R RATED Mode a lot, but besides that, I just want to have a good time on here.

All good in the Rush Hood today.

Thank you, too, Earl.

You are welcome my friend.

My lame ass A's shit the bed again this season but it's all good.

It was a fun day and night with my awesome dad.

I listened to the new Steel Panther three times to make me realize that it's just baseball and to move on!!!

Life is short!!

I'm going to date lots of women until I find a good one.

Take care of my parents.

Give my daughters everything they need until they find careers and then can take care of me.

I am going to play my drums and listen to Heavy Metal until I die.

Cheers Derek!

I am not crazy.

I just know what I love in life.

Earl, I can say this in an e-mail, too, but I'll post it in, and on this thread. I haven't ever thought, and had the feeling you were, and had been crazy. Me, you, and all of us need love in any, and everything.
