apetersvt
Took the train back from New York on Wednesday. Went by the Prudential Center in Newark. The R40 show there was my last Rush show. After sitting right behind Michael Moore at the show, my final Rush memories are somewhat stained. Probably should have headed out to the LA show to make up for it.
Analog_Bro
I was there, and while the seats I had were not amazing the performance indeed was. Xanadu, Working Man, and Red Barchetta were especially awesome that night
Disk98
I’ll never forget the Newark show. They were in top form that night, and I finally got to hear Xanadu played live. Losing It was a special treat, too.
Blue J
I seem to remember that there was/is a complete recording of the final show somewhere, isn’t there? Or am I just dreaming that? Seriously though, does anyone know? (I thought it would be just as good to post that here rather than starting a new thread in Different Stages, in there were just crickets in response).

Tombstone Mountain
You go, Grey! Those who weren't there can write about it. Those who were there can sit back and smile!!Although I have to admit, my confusion rests not so much with how I got to the LA concert, but rather, with how I got back to my hotel room from the desolate parking lot of Steve Harvey's Chicken Shack!! Thank you Tombstone Mountain, wherever you might be!!It wasn't that desolate. Jigga was there sellinh t-shirts, telling us how many people he's shot
Tombstone Mountain
It was great hanging with you guys for my 60th and final show Man...seeing that pic really makes it burn that I passed on attending. Why man why did you pass?8+ hour drive, and I had seen them twice No excuse! I drove from north Georgia to Toronto, then on to Montreal to see them! Besides, seeing them at every stop still wouldn't have been enough! That's the spirit, man! Would love to hear more stories from that trip... R40 was an unbelievable experience for me. I flew in 9,297(google)km from Frankfurt to LA. I had no ticket when I first booked this flight, and somehow strangely a "TRF Angel" appeared. Right out of that nowhere I ended up somewhere, in Inglewood... Last show... 3rd row... Geddy's side!! I still can smell The Forum!!! :smoke:The greatest and most important Rock'n'Roll trip in my life! :rush: Thanks for the ticket, Gina!!!Thanks for the beers, brought all the way from Germany dude. They were tasty
