I can't do this because I won't agree with any of the riffs that I don't pick and the whole thing will just look like a big shitfest. So there's no point, which is why I never did the other ones.

This one is easy though. All you need to say is Tony Iommi wrote all one hundred.

Wasn't Lucas who introduced this format? I wonder where he is now?

5. Supernaut - Black Sabbath

Could've chosen any number of Iommi's riffs but Supernaut is one of my favorites. I'm sure other folks will add plenty of his to this list.

The riff is usually the main thing played over and over again in the song. Literally every rock, blues, metal and punk song has one. You can't really have a song without it. More often than not it's the main riff that opens up a song. For example, all you need to do is press play on Whole Lotta Love and the riff is the first thing you hear.

He’s in New Jersey- that’s where he lives. :16ton:

I just talked to him a few weeks ago, and he’s doing well.

Is the riff in Electric Funeral a heavy metal riff? I doubt it. That riff always sounded quirky to me.

Yes.

Tony Iommi plays it. Therefore it is metal.
