Yeah, yeah...it's loaded with covers.  But the covers are genius, and beginning to end this may be the best collection of Eddie's full range of playing styles.

shame Whisky In The Jar didn't make it on the album (though it's now a bonus track on the deluxe edition), and many of the songs are a bit...unruly...but that's just charming to me. And the guitar work is incredible! I also love hearing Phil's playing in the power trio format.

What flaws?  And please don't say "Hot Dog" because that song is so damn cool!

Are we supposed to be building a list here, or just naming off albums?  I hope it's the latter (even though I was a follower above ;))

Guns N Roses -Use Your Illusion 1 & 2.  I get it.  They're bloated.  Because the CD had emerged as the dominant format, so you didn't need to cut songs to make it onto a vinyl side.

And because every tune on both albums has something redeeming about it.  :)

I love this album, despite the dated keyboards and Simmons pads.

And there's this aural abortion of a song:

Still - I love the album.

I have problems.

Like, name an album that you love, even though you recognize it's not a perfect record and/or could obviously be better.

No you don't; AWBH (and  L) is an aural masterpiece.  But Teakbois will always be a steaming pile!

Feel better now?

Yes - Fragile

sue me, but the solo songs just aren't as good as the full band pieces and they break up the flow of the album

but I love it anyway. Not like there's anything BAD on here (although I'm not sure "5 percent for nothing" is good)
