Geddy sang it better and Alex played the guitar better, but I like the drums more on this one.

Maybe Geddy and Alex can offer this drummer a job.

And the ghost of John Rutsey can finally rest!

I'm not sure I like this. They have skill, but all they did was make the song heavier. If you're going to do that, why not make it more your own, do a little rearranging -- make it unique but still Subdivisions.

Complete lack of re-arrangement. I disliked this when I first heard and hate it now.

The one with William Shatner is as good as the original.

I think this might be the best death metal version:

Both are not bad but do we need to listen to this song over and over.

Better than “meh” but not close to greatness of the original.

It sounded good up to the vocals, just can't take that type of delivery seriously. I remember at a gig a heavy metal band was introducing the band members/song. He carried on this growly type voice while speaking. Someone shouted "speak properly", which he retorted( in a very feminine tone) "shut up!" :D

The Shatner one. Nothing new, but it's very slick.

I was pleasantly surprised when the vocals came in.  I was cringing that I might hear:
