The only guitar I own isn't even worth posting a picture of. Just a plain, bare bones Trinity River acoustic. But, I have a book called Dangerous Curves: The Art of the Guitar that has great images and stories covering the history of the guitar. (I will post photo credits and editorial credits each time I post from it.)

This guitar is attributed to Belchior Dias of Portugal (Lisbon) and is dated around 1590. It is considered one of the earliest guitars know to have survived.
