This evening I am not listening to a vinyl record! For once, I am enjoying a CD. It is Rush - Different Stages Live on the Japanese version, which has Force Ten as a bonus song (great version of the song!). I hope that some day they will release this great live record on vinyl record. This might be my favorite Rush live record!

This sunny day I am just relaxing and enjoying Rush - Time Machine 2011: Live In Cleveland on the 2019 vinyl record release. This is a great live record, they playing the entire Moving Pictures and also some never before played live songs such as Presto, and they are also doing La Villa Strangiato and a great version of Working Man with a reggae intro (same as they did 1981 during the real Moving Pictures tour, you can hear it on bootlegs). This was also the very first tour I saw with Rush, when they came to my country, sweden! A great concert!

What is the sq on this record? I bought the single album MP Live back when it came out and that was a sonic disaster, so I am very reluctant to shell out dollars for this release

Tai Shan

I know this is often considered the weakest song on HYF; but I think it's one of the band's best....sorry.

My late father in-law was a historian with a great interest in China, and the lyrics really resonate with me, largely for that reason.

"If you raise your hands to heaven, You will live a hundred years"

If by sq you mean sound quality. Then I must say it's really good! Well worth the money.

This morning I am enjoying Rush - Feedback on the 2016 reissue vinyl record. It is a EP with cover songs from the 60s that Rush recorded to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary since they released their debut record. This record seems to be really underrated, but I really enjoy it! I find that Rush do most of the songs better then the originals! My favorite song on this EP is The Seeker!

Losing It.

I haven't heard this song in a few years. It sounds better than ever.

Just think what they could've done with their tight 80s songs rerecorded using modern production values.

Love it too! My first Rush music purchase, bought it on R30 tour. Took my sister to it for her birthday, she was the big fan. I didn't know Rush much so when they played the Buffalo Springfield songs I was impressed. Took me a few more years before I became a big fan but so glad I got to see that concert!

I am right now listening to the R30 concert (audio ripped from the bluray). I did not see Rush until the Time Machine tour, but I really hope that they will release R30 full concert on vinyl record!

Faithless

Bravest Face

Good News First

We Hold On

I'm trying to catch up on the Rush songs I feel I need a refresher on. I have Clockwork Angels memorized, so I'm starting with S&A

Bravest Face and Good News First are really starting to grow on me, and the opening riff + chorus of Faithless is killer.

R30 Overture

:moose: :notworthy: :haz: :notworthy: :moose:

That is the best intro ever!! I didn't realize how good when I saw it live because I wasn't a big Rush fan yet (took my sister for her b-day) but now everytime I listen I am so blown away. :dweez: :notworthy: :haz: :rush:

Some people didn't like the medley but thought was awesome. I'm in the "a snippet is better than nothing" camp.
