Geddy has donated the bass strings from when he played Roundabout with Yes at the RRHOF last year to charity.  The place that is handling them is  https://theguitarwrist.co.uk/rush/ a place that creates art and jewelry from items that artists donate.  The buyer of Geddy's times will see their donation go to Grapes For Humanity and the UK Teenage Cancer Trust.  Links and photos below- 5 days left!  (Sadly, the bids are above my price.  I love the bracelet!  ) https://theguitarwri...tarwri...    https://theguitarwri...rings-bracelet/

If these were from something like Leave That Thing Alone or Malignant Narcissism, I'd be all over it,
In any case, I'm sure these strings will make someone very happy.

Winning Bid: £1,010.00.  Lucky person :D   I have watched Ged's performance at RRHOF with Yes many times.  He did a great job (which was expected) :D

Is that still his final public musical performance?

I think you're right. :(     Alex kind of gets around to different projects and it makes me forget that Geddy hasn't actually played in a while (in public, anyway.)

You forgot he sat in with Les Claypool and Sean Lennon a month or two ago.  That was the last one I heard about.

That was only a few weeks back too. Watched it about 10 times too, and I still forgot it!

Yeah it’s easy to get confused when you know there’s no plans and just a book tour and the random pop-in on another band’s gig.  I’m just intrigued that someone went to the trouble to isolate that specific set of strings from RRHOF performance and keep them aside from the umpteen million other sets of dead strings he must have gone through over the decades.  But it was a pretty damn special occasion, so I guess not so weird really.
