The Rush Tribute Project

These guys are the perfect fix for Rushians in the post RUSH era.

This band is out of Wisconsin, and made it all the way down to Texas last Saturday night to play for us diehards in DFW.

The weather was awful for spring in N Texas, cold, rainy and windy as F. But the venue was a covered pavilion, safe enough for determined fans and musicians. The crowd might have been 100, but we were a rowdy lot, more than enthusiastic for the music we love.

The trio took the stage and without a word the power chords to Bastille Day blasted through the sound of the rain. Then the high cutting vocals that for all the world were as if a young Ged were right there. Don't know his name but this guy nails young Geddy with vocals and base.

In fact all three of these guys are spectacular. The guitarist shreds at the speed of Al, and the drummer is spot on. You couldn't ask for more.

See for yourself.

The set list was perfect, the performance amazing under the circumstances. They did the ESL version of YYZ complete with very accurate drum solo, the RIR version of CTTH with extended jam, side one of 2112, MP, PeW, an

d three hours of so much more.

You have to go see these guys if you can. They are the RUSH fix you're craving. Do it now while the vocalists voice lasts. Lol

Best show in Houston I've been to in a long time. If you want to see a band that very accurately recreates the songs including the high notes from Anthem and Freewill... These are the guys. Great show. 2.5 hrs at Warehouse live. Played Lakeside Park and Countdown as well.
