I just found an amazing bootleg by RUSH! It's on GYPSY EYE! One of the best in the BIZ!

When it comes to Rush I have probably paid for Neil's BMW motorcycle.

I have probably paid for Geddy's Blue Jay diamond seats season tickets over the years.

I found this boot sound recording called "Bottle Of Booze." GUP TOUR EAST COAST!

 

It's only one disc so no drum solo which really pissed me off but "The Body Electric" and "Kid Gloves" are on it!

 

Blew my mind!

 

I was on 16 when I saw this tour but I don't remember those two on the West Coast.

 

Hell, did you East Coasters who saw that leg see Y&T open?

 

I know for a fact that Y&T opened for RUSH on the East Coast for three weeks!

 

I know for a fact that Dave Meniketti and Geddy Lee didn't get along on that leg.

 

I have a juicy story about that leg but I know I've already told it on here a few times over the years.

I should write a book.

 

However when I decide to I will contact 73 and he can send me every thread or post or poll I've written on here since 2006.

 

I will then compose everything and write a book.

 

Then I will make it into a screenplay.

 

Then a soundtrack.

 

Then I will pitch it to Hollywood and sell it for 211200 dollars.

 

Then I will use that money to make sure my soundtrack is from me.

People still cover their music quite regularly, fans have their own convention to attend and discuss Rush, there’s literally an entire fan run festival in Brazil dedicated solely to Rush and their music, and re-releases of their albums along with unreleased content from the respective tours is being distributed as well with the re-issues. The story of Rush is far from being done.

I agree with you and welcome to The Rush Forum.

 

I am just stating a fact that this Rush Section is very slow these years.

 

The Legacy Of Rush will live on for all Eternity until the sun burns out, or if an asteroid the size of Uranus comes crashing into the Earth. Or perhaps the stupid human race is wiped out by a nuclear holocaust or perhaps when Mother Nature is sick and tired of us ruining the planet and a plague is released in a parachute virus formation that kills us all. Well a few may live. "The Stand?"

 

Anyway, it is what it is. I mean of course RUSH will still influence generations to come. We are very lucky to have these guys still alive and thriving with their own passions. Heck I just said hi to Geddy Lee at a Jay game a few Sundays ago.

 

I am blessed. Not cursed.
