"Rocka Rolla" just was reissued yet again. Digipak cd with limited poster. The album is simply a masterpiece. Although "Sad Wings" will always be my number one Judas Priest album!

 

As for the Scorps? Hmmmmmmmm

 

I'm all over the map. "Lonesome Crow" is yet another masterpiece. Hell, I wrote a thread about that album a month ago.

 

With both albums fresh in my Rushhead, I really don't know which to choose. However some clever band once wrote, "If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice."

 

Well not in this poll. There will be no option three.

 

 

The way I feel tonight? I have to go with "Lonesome Crow." Because then Priest wrote their best album EVER! DUHHHH! SAD WINGS!!!

Yeah, I'm kinda wondering the same thing. Wifey picked up a couple of tickets for us at the Tacoma Dome. He's 70 and has so many health issues lately that I wonder if he's gonna have to call it. I wouldn't blame him. I just wanted to see him one more time.

I have Night Ranger and STYX tix with my parents at an Indian Casino. So I am good.

But I too want to see the Prince Of Darkness one last time.

I saw the "No More Tears" Tour with the real Alice In Chains opening. It was incredible. Layne was in a fuckking wheelchair with a broken leg but that son of a gun sounded great! RIP!

 

Glad I saw all the great grunge bands.

 

All of them.

 

Anyway, I saw the OZZMOSIS Tour too.

 

It was awful.

 

Oakland too.

 

OZZY got sick half way through the concert and it was over if fuckking 45 minutes.

 

I never saw him again until the last Black Sabbath Tour, but the one with "Dirty Women" on it. My favorite! LOL!

 

Old Sabbath is great but so overplayed.

 

I'm a fuckking weirdo man.

 

Give me "Technical" and "Never Say Die" all night long.

Ozzy has been a kinda iffy thing live for quite some time. Like Nirvana or G'N'R, I guess. Saw him in '07 and it was a bit rough. It was the first show of that tour... odd that he picked Washington as a place to start. He was flat and a bit off pace for about four songs until things picked up. '06 was good, Sabbath '13 was pretty good, and '11 at the Tacoma Dome was great. Fun show. Jovial and rocking it. They finished with four early Sabbath songs that year and he nailed all of them. Damn. The whole set was solid. :haz: 'K'-in A.

 

He has made so many albums. Not every one is perfect, but they all have some gems for me. He is (like Rush and several other bands) a timeline of my life. It is part of my pantheon.

 

It's f---ed up that it monkey wrenches Judas Priest on this tour. Priest may have to figure out a way to tour alone or find another band to tour with. That's just the Master of Reality. It is what it is and what ever. Time is still the infinite jest.

Earl you say old Sabbath is overplayed, then turn the f***ing radio off or the TV. Stop listening to the albums! Stop overplaying them. I don't complain about this because I never overplay anything. You need to start learning how to do it. This is not a viable criticism of music. You can't blame an album because you overplayed it. Go and listen to something else, and don't overplay that either. Hey I'm just trying to help you Earl you sound weak willed, don't give in to overplaying stuff. Be a man and control yourself.
