There's a new book that explores the details of every studio and live album coming out next January. It's called Rush: Song by Song.

I've never heard of the guy writing it. I wonder if there's any official participation or sanctioning from the band.

 

I'll get it anyway, but it would be great if a book like this was vetted by the band the way the touring history one is.

Most of the books aren't sanctioned. Mostly a mixed bag overall There some good ones out there though.

Yeah true, there actually are some good ones.

But in this case, I highly doubt that it will be a big hit. How many songs are we talking about, with all the live stuff and the solo albums included? The number of 160 pages sounds very underwhelming to me.

I'll wait and see how the public reactions and reviews turn out when it's finally released. Not promising enough to pre-order.
