A Profound Peom

Tick

Sometimes I drink

Sometimes I smoke

Sometimes I fart

Sometime I choke

Sometimes I laugh

Sometimes I cry

Sometimes we live

Someday we'll die

This is the best peom ever, even if it would be in the bottom quartile of poems.

This peom is called Lorraine

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Why did they name

A quiche after you?

Tick is an old fool

He lives in his old school

He eats with a slide rule

sleeps in a swimming pool

combs his hair with a metalwork tool

spends 3 hours pushing out stool

is as stubborn as a mule

at night he is cruel

he scares kids away from his school

dressed up as a ghoul

the front all covered in drool

Tick that isn't cool

what an old fool

From Geddy's solo album? If not, Mr. Weinrib missed a hell of a chance.

I've sold it to him for a pack of gum. Blueberry flavour.

There once was a dude named Quill

Who smacked Thanos for the thrill

He couldn't rise above

Avenging his love

And now he's just dust on a hill

What's a peom?....inquiring minds want to know....

Its kind of a light chicken gravy.

Wynona loved her big brown beaver

And she stroked him all the time.

She pricked her finger one day and it occurred to her

she might have a porcupine.

There is some deep significance to the fact that every line (1-7) begins "sometimes" with the exception of line 4, which begins "sometime" - as if to suggest some one time, or "for some amount of time" maybe. The other analytical questions I have are, is the "I" of the poem "choking" on something (the smell?), or is the I choking someone, or . . . is the I choking something . . . like . . . the chicken? Or is it choking in the sense of faltering?
