La Villa.

 

Both are great but Rush takes us on such a fantastic journey without using any words. Of course my Rush bias plays into this. Seeing Alex play the song right in front of me when I had front row on the Time Machine tour might also help sway my decision.

It's kind of funny because "Presence" is my favorite Zep record.

 

But come on man!

 

Every note on "Hemispheres" blows everything else away on the planet.

Earl, in my Book II, almost everything from seventies Rush, blows anything by Zep far away! :ph34r:

 

I guess that's the point where I admitted to be friggin' fanboi.

Zeppelin was great but they were drunks on stage. Page in a chair fuckinng up his solos.

Drugs and booze band.

 

Zep were pioneers but were also over the top and overrated.

 

Pat and I were having a discussion about the blues. Eric Clapton thinks Zep fuckked it all up and took the blues to a bullshit disgrace.

 

Seventies Rush can't even cum close to anything Zeppelin.

 

Overplayed and overrated.

 

If you Zep fanbois don't agree with me then cool!!! No worries I get it! The Zep were mighty. Just not that original.

:hi: I'll take the bullet with Lorraine for suggesting this poll and vote for Achilles. While I never thought it would win in a Rush forum, I thought it might get a little more support. I think Achilles is one of Zep's more interesting and almost proggy tracks.

 

Maybe the next suggestion is LaVilla vs some other Epicness from Yes or Genesis (take your pick)?
