Oriental Riff

The Oriental riff and interpretations of it have been included as part of numerous musical works in Western music. Examples of its use include "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas and Biddu (1974),[1][3] The Vapors' "Turning Japanese",[3] and Rush's "A Passage to Bangkok".

I love those songs! Any of your favorite songs include the riff?

Rush Territories as an asian feel in the beginning. I actually love that song and it's one of Neil's best lyrical efforts of the 80s.

Also, incubus - Aqueous Transmission

But yeah, we'll just forget that Tai Shan happened.
