Did you get any new music for Christmas? If so, what? I didn't get any new Rush (didn't ask for any) but did get Traveller by Chris Stapleton and Confessin the Blues; it's an awesome compilation of blues songs put together by the Rolling Stones.

Car trip today ( Xmas #3) is a good chance to hear Traveller; I really like it.

Bought for me at my request:

Muse - Simulation Theory (deluxe box set)

Rush - Hemidpheres (40th anniversary triple vinyl package)

Bought by me with music money I received:

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti

Kids See Ghosts - Kids See Ghosts

The Kinks - The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society

Traffic - Mr. Fantasy

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

all on iTunes, also got some money to spend at Barnes and Nobles that will more than likely go towards a record or two, perhaps Hendrix Electric Ladyland, or Beach Boys Pet Sounds.

I haven't heard the Muse or the Kids see Ghosts but the rest are awesome picks!

Well, hour 3 of car trip. I bought Songs for Judy, for mr. Blues for Christmas. It's a previously unreleased collection of some 70's Neil Young acoustic songs- 24 of them!

Me at the beginning- "These are lovely, I have missed hearing them." Me 90 minutes later- "Help, I'm stuck in hell . ."

I should add that Geddy has the same effect on Mr. blues, lol.

Kids See Ghosts is a new hip hop / pop duo comprised of Kanye West and Kid Cudi, so I only recommend if you're into that. The new Muse has a lot of very interesting moments though, whether or not you end up liking it.

Got a lot of stuff that's music related, if that counts. :)

Two Beatles books, a damn f***in' fine Beatles t-shirt, a weird Judas Priest Metal Works shirt, a set of Beatles guitar picks, a Motörhead cassette doormat... I'll post a picture, maybe next year... :smoke:

Does it count that I bought my self a christmas gift? If yes, then I bought the new A Farewell To Kings super deluxe box set. And I just love it! So much better then the 2112 box set! Now I am saving money for the Hemispheres box set. But ever since I got my self a dog, the money spent on records have been so much less suddenly...

Well, I'm getting a new music player to replace my dinky little one that is breaking and doesn't have enough space for every Rush album, so I dunno if that counts but...

Edit: Oh this is from 2 years ago...oh well

I was playing a game of scrabble with my own family (just my own, nobody else. I am staying safe ;)). Whoever won this game gets the first gift of Christmas. I won the game, and I got this album. ON VINYL.

And this is a RED LP

Indeed! More vinyl!

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Winterland (2020 single disc orange vinyl edition)

David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars

Thin Lizzy - Black Rose: A Rock Legend

MisterWives - Superbloom (neon yellow vinyl, and let me tell you, this neon yellow color is positively radioactive)

EDIT: And an Amazon gift card that just became Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger, the 25th anniversary edition double LP with a heap of studio outtakes and live tracks added on to the mp3 version of that album that comes with it.

He was the first one I put on. Played it while reading my new Darth Vader comics.
