Perhaps 73 tolerates me because I'm an Analog Kid with A Digital Man foul mouth!

I'm fukking 50 years old and I've seen 60 Rush shows in 30 years.
Now you may think I'm bragging, but I've met so many wonderful Rush fans over the decades who have seen them over 130 times!
Most from the UK and hello to you all if you read this!!!  Love you ALL!
It's not about the times man, it's about the experience.
My girls are grown up now.  Zoe my oldest has seen RUSH twice.  That's two Neil Peart drum solos.  It was important to me. Alas Zo to this day doesn't care.  Geddy's bass pedals made her stomach cry during the Snakes And Arrows Tour in Concord.
Skylar my youngest daughter saw Rush on the opener of the Time Machine Tour.  New Mexico.  It was so much fun!  But Skylar doesn't remember much.

No wonder why my ex wife left me.

I tired too hard!  LOL!

Oh well!

Life goes on and on that note...

RUSH WILL ALWAYS BE MY NUMBER ONE BAND IN THIS WONDERFUL WORLD!!!!!

Remember kids, the world we live in together is an amazing place.  Its humanity that fuckss it all up.

I still believe in the good of all mankind but it's getting "Tougher Than Leather!"  LOL!

Love

It's long been a battle between Rush and the whole Ozzy/Sabbath thing for me for the number one spot. Maybe Kyuss/Queens for third.

What a band. I thought they were pretty cool in high school, but they just keep sounding better as I get older. That's a sign of a great band.

Ever since age 9 and despite my love of other artists, nobody has ever been close to Rush.

Stone Sour? It's criminal to include them in the same sentence with the Foo Fighters. Rush is olde and tired and I've moved on.

My 3 favorite acts will probably always be Zappa, Floyd and Rush.

And I like everything except modern pop. I hate modern pop. Even more than contemporary country.

Gimme prog or gimme death with a heaping hatful of Grateful Dead on the side.

That's an interesting combo. I don't think you should discount all of "modern pop" because there's some good stuff to listen to. At one time. Foreigner and Styx and Cheap Trick and many other bands were pop.

False. Rush is one of the best bands in my book for sure, but not THE BEST.
Led Zeppelin will always be better than them. And probably Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, The Who and Deep Purple.

Me too.  I'm much more into Pink Floyd these days.
