I got a cheap Vapor Trails era poster on eBay but it looks pretty good in a frame!

Posted Image

Sadly, this one is sitting in a closet shelf. I've opted to have the lithograph from that album framed and hung instead.

For a minute I thought you were going to say that I bought your closet poster, lol.

You might have at some point.  More in the closet than hanging up unfortunately. If I were smart, I'd do some kind of rotation thing. Did sell a few off though.

Have you started this one yet, ORF? I bought it when it came out. Compelling stuff. The author has certainly done his research.
If you can find it, Dougal Butler's "Full Moon" is stupidly full of ridiculous road stories. The Indian restaurant story is a stand-out. :o

Posted Image

I think it's rather rare, but you might find a cheap copy somewhere.
It's actually quite heartwarming in spots, and heart-breaking in others.

Happy reading!

I'll look this book up next pay day!  Looks like it's not so rare on Amazon! I'll have to see if there are any hard back editions...Maybe even an E edition...

Yeah, looks like there are a few used copies out there. That's good news, ORF!
I've never seen or noticed a hardcover edition for sale. It was published in the UK (I think) as "Moon the Loon" so you might have better luck with that title.

The author, Peter "Dougal" Butler, was Keith's right-hand-man throughout the 1970s. He obviously loved Moonie, despite airing some slightly dirty laundry.

Right to left: the author, the savant, the Starr, Sleepy Stills. Missing from picture: a bottle of brandy, a bag of cocaine, and four hookers. :D

"This Tight Tonight" has to be an independent compilation, because it doesn't appear in the Wikipedia discography.  Can you confirm this?  It's not mentioned in the discography... thanks, VT!

Cool Music!  I remember the song "Holiday" from this album and that it was the first hit from them since "Love Hurts" as far as AOR U.S. radio play went back then! [early Eighties]

Haven't bought it yet, but will buy that new YYNOT single later tonight.

Chemical Burn? Chemical Peel? ... whatever it's called - "The Sound" is strong in YYNOT. Want to support this band.
