If driving in Mexico and someone toots their horn or whistles this tune at you, it's not because they're fans of classic cartoons. "Shave and a haircut" has the same rhythm as the Spanish phrase "Chinga tu madre", or in English, "F- your mother". :P The response, "Two bits" matches "Cabron", or " A-hole". I haven;t since 2008 -- I cut it myself these days When you are sitting there in the chair all vulnerable looking at yourself in the mirror with some dipshit with scissors behind you saying "well, give it two weeks and it will look better" it can be incredibly awkward ...
