Red3angel
It’s so hard to do a top 5 because well you know. But the last three albums can’t be ignored. I wish I could count them as one . Anyway my current top 5 has the original VT . Hemispheres. 2112 . Gup. And pew. Anyone else have a top 5 that has one of the last three studio albums? goose
For me the answer is "yes", but only in a certain context. If I'm listening to an entire RUSH album, none of the last three will make it into my top five. But more often than not, I'll listen to a shuffled songlist. In that context, both VT and Snakes make my top 5, because the songs I like from those two album, I really like as single tracks.

rocket ignites
CA would be top 10. My top 5 would be too solid to change other than the order.
vaportrailer
VT is top 5 with me, in all it's misshapen glory. Debut would be up there too, along with PeW (love that acronym), MP and...Fly by Night? AtWaS displaces FBN if live albums allowed. Pretty much a perfect album to my ears (and eyes).

Mosher
Whittled down from a much longer list of contenders I am left with these three always making the cut: Moving PicturesPermanent WavesHemispheres And then I'm left with several to mix and match two into a daily top five with those above. One of those is Clockwork Angels. It is the only contender from this century, and honestly it has the best shot on a daily basis going back to the mid '80s, when it finally receives some worthy competition from Grace and Power. Clockwork is really that good.
