Kingdom Of Heaven and any Hayao Miyazaki film (if push comes to shove, Princess Mononoke).

As a kid it was Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar and Oliver! Heavy Metal and Reality Bites are two from my teens/20s that got a lot of play. Right now, it's probably the soundtrack from the Doors movie.

I like Bullitt and Dirty Harry and of course The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

And then there's the Bernard Herrmann scores.

Basically I like all these guys:

Lalo Schifrin

Elmer Bernstein

Ennio Moricone

Bernard Herrmann

Jerry Goldsmith

John Williams

The Sweet Dreams movie soundtrack; all songs sung by Patsy Cline. Jessica Lange played her in the movie but they used Patsy's voice. They re-engineered some of the songs to make them sound more modern as far as percussion and just about every song sounds gorgeous. Patsy was really a unique talent and voice.

The Crooklyn soundtrack; from an old Spike Lee movie about his childhood in Brooklyn. It has a lot of old school soul and R & B songs that are awesome and that I never really hear anymore- Everyday People; Respect Yourself; Ooh ooh Child etc.

Jesus Christ Superstar; the original cast recording with Ian Gillan of Deep Purple as Jesus. He could really nail a song back then!

Thief (Tangerine Dream)

Stick (Barry DeVorzon)

Witness (Maurice Jarre)

Love the TD scores. Near Dark and Risky Business are a couple of good ones as well. Hugely influential to one of my favorites, Drive.

Forgot to mention Valley Girl as one of my favorites as well.
