Anything happening.

Ok the internet is a great thing for info on your fave things but i am not that computer savvy and don't indulge in social media except a couple of forums. Also i live zillions of miles away in Tasmania,in a cottage,in a sleepy valley, with a couple of neighbours just in sight. My question is Alex and/or Geddy doing anything .Now i know this forum usually jumps when something happens but this forum seems to be degenerating into polls which is all good and well but i remember a certain rock magazine being blasted for lazy journalism when every second issue was a poll for best band ever, best guitar solo, etc, when classic rock was at a low a few years back.I would love to contribute something new like 'i saw Alex in a guitar shop the other day fooling around on a new toon' or 'Geddy sells his baseball collection' but being out of the loop not much chance.I understand you can't get info out of thin air but just asking anyone do they have any news.P.S.I think Neil might be reading a good book.

Nope. Nothing too big is going on that we know of. Alex has been as guest on a few recordings from other bands. Geddy is working on some book about baseball and Neil is retired from everything. Edited by J2112YYZ

Yeah, Lee and Lifeson have teamed up with Mike Portnoy and are touring under the moniker “Mush”.

Apart from that Peart has done his bit for world literature by not writing another book.

It would probably be "The Mike Portnoy Band" featuring Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, formerly of Rush.

Say what you want about Portnoy but a trio with him, Geddy and Alex would be pretty killer to me.

I'd pay good money to see that.

Say what you want about Portnoy...

ok I will. He's a douche.

And playing with Al and Ged would sound like 2 hours of Pornoy overcompensating. Pass.

Probably would be best, you can go to jail for using bad money.

Alex with Marco Minneman is something I would buy for sure.

They all seem to be enjoying retirement but I'd be down for another Geddy solo album and a tour. MFH is a solid album and it's kind of a shame none of those songs ever got played live.

But I'm not too pressed about them doing more stuff. They gave us 41 years and I got to seem then live 7 times. Anything else any of the members do publicly at this point is a bonus.

Tasmania? The only thing I know about Tasmania is that it's home to the woman that inspired the lyrics to Whole Lotta Rosie. :D

Oh, I didn't know that.

The only thing I know about the region is that the Tasmanian devils live there. The only spot in the world they exist in I believe.
