I think it's more like the answer is every solo, if DLR's premise stands.

Indeed.....you could be listening to any Van Halen song, you could tell your buddy, "THIS is my favorite Eddie Van Halen solo!" and you would be telling the truth every time.....

Idek I am not huge on guitar solo's anymore, I Prefer rhythm guitar.

As far as solis, I like them when they aren't all over the fretboard, preferring solos like Eddie's from When Push Comes to Shove. Great tone, and every note has its place.

 

The intro to Dirty Movies is killer as well.

Is it too cliche to just say Eruption because I can't recall most of his other guitar solos off the top of my head?
