I think I learned something tonight. I was finally able to sit in my living room and listen to the new Ghost album for the first time. Target exclusive with bonus tracks too! WOW! So, I learned to never see a concert of a band you love before hearing the new record. My mind is blown tonight. The new GHOST album is AMAZING! Only after one listen. The production is slick. It's so melodic, so incredible. The instrument I quoted in the header seriously reminds me of CAMEL! With a heavier drum section of course. WOW! FUKK! Glad I have my ticket for the LA FORUM. Last time there was for the final RUSH SHOW! Now I will be there to see GHOST take over and grab that torch. Like I had predicted years ago. Even told Tobias to his very own face and ears. A given. I still hate that fuckking saxophone part but the album is a 9.5. Of course they did a Pet Shop Boys' hit. I can't wait for GHOST to do "Burning For You." BOC Man, you poor souls who don't listen to Duck and I. There are so many moments on the this new album that remind me of BOC. Pat and I must have an ear wax problem. LOL! GHOST IS THE NEW RUSH! Rush music has nothing to do with Ghost music. I thought I explained this years ago when I met Ghost in Reno in 2015. They are My NEW RUSH. They are a band I love and will travel for and I do and I will. It's a pass the torch thing, not a comparison to RUSH. The greatest band ever made on Mother Earth. GHOST isn't even in my top 5..... yet. I simply told Tobias that "Rush has retired this year, your band is my new RUSH." Simple and pure. Hence Tobias actually bowed to me in honor and shook my hand and told me that well, it was an honor to be in the same realm as RUSH. Tobias was a wonderful guy. Not sure now. Fame can turn you into an asshole. I heard a lot of crap about how Tobias has changed. Hope it isn't true. I have no gossip or drama. Love it. RUSH IS OVER! GHOST WILL PACK THE LA FORUM! I still prefer HIM but I have a darkly humorous band that loves the seventies and big eighties hooks band to follow again!
