Fordgalaxy
Initially there was a story that his death was a hoax, but turns out it wasn't. He's actually dead. Edited April 16, 2018 by Fordgalaxy

blueschica
I've never seen Full Metal Jacket, but somehow I recognize him. RIP.
Maverick
I've never seen Full Metal Jacket, but somehow I recognize him. RIP. Check out The Boys of Company Canada, too. He was great in that film.
That One Guy
His performance in Full Metal Jacket is without question one of my favorite pieces of cinema. I also enjoyed his general personality, and some works he did in the 00's and beyond. The man lived a full life, may he rest in peace.
Babycat
The drill sergeant who spent most of his time shouting at the soldiers? Rest in peace, dude...
invisible airwave
Loved his comedic role in Saving Silverman. RIP
GeddyLeeRoth
His role and performance in Full Metal Jacket makes him one of the most quotable characters in cinema. "Hell I like you. You can come over and f@ck my sister." LMFAO. RIP R. Lee...
invisible airwave
I was just watching the Nostalgia Critic review of Starship Troopers and I forgot he had a small role in The Frighteners since NC mentioned it. My favorite non LOTR Peter Jackson movie.
workingcinderellaman
He'll be missed. Soon he'll be doing this:
workingcinderellaman
I've never seen Full Metal Jacket, but somehow I recognize him. RIP. That's because that movie made him a drill sergeant cliche that has been parodied in a ton of other movies, the Frighteners that I just posted a clip of being one of them. Even if you haven't seen him in a movie, you've probably heard his voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=781B_Qf4wnY

invisible airwave
Just watched Fletch Lives on Cinemax this week for the first time since I saw it in theaters as a kid and had no idea he was in that. “Another soul saved by Jimmy Lee Farnsworth! How about that?!” Edited May 18, 2018 by invisible airwave
