His discography is massive: from Joni Mitchell to Jeff Beck to Frnk Zappa to Megadeth he’s got the feels and the chops to play whatever they want. I think they should get a younger drummer if they do anything together again. Get some young blood the light a fire under their asses. Worked for Judas Priest when Faulkner replaced Downing. I bought the CD and listened once. Most of the second set was brutal. First set was mostly fine. I'm sure they've already wrote and/or played new music. It wouldn't be Rush, and that's not important. I like the creative chemistry they've had in the past and it would be surprising to me if they don't make music I like next time. Geddy's solo venture was very Rush-like, Alex's wasn't remotely Rush-like. My assumption is that together they would mix Alex's desire to branch out with Geddy's desire to keep things tight and the outcome would be great. Other than that, I have no opinion.
