OP asks for participation in the poll.

Members post lists.  Discuss these lists, often the same lists from the same members in other Dream Theater threads.

TRF at its "best".

Rush needs to come out of retirement or this is going to get old, really quick.

Agreed. But most here also just enjoy the company. But the discussions are getting stale.

Visual clutter.

I could, of course, just stop reading any of your posts but I happen to like your every other 20th post.

I realize that sounds like a backhanded compliment, because it was!  :P

A Dramatic Turn Of Events deserves a vote. It isn't my personal favorite, but it's definitely in my top 3. I'm changing my vote.

That's a great record.  it does deserve more love.

that record came about after Portnoy left in a huff.  and the rot had started to set in for me with the last 2 records.  so ADTOE was like a breath of fresh air to me.

First DT album I ever heard. Happened to be listening to a local rock station on vacation a number of years back and they were doing a countdown of the greatest prog albums ever. I'd only just gotten into Rush, and I caught the program on the top two. I forget the exact order, but I think ADTOE must've just come out because the top two were that and 2112. Obviously anything that could rank up next to 2112 I had to check out quickly. I was not disappointed when I did check it out. I'd never heard anything like it before. It's still the one album that I always get that Dream Theater effect from, no matter how tired I think I am of DT, that one's always a pleasure to hear.

Not even close to my favorite album but I like it a lot. Not much into Lost Not Forgotten at all though and possibly Far From Heaven. Don't have much of a problem with the rest of it.

Outcry is the only one that ever wears thin on me. Too much fiddly stuff, not enough groove. Still though, it's great. My fav has to be Bridges In The Sky. Great lyrics on that one too.

Definitely hope they can get back to something that sounds like Dramatic Turn or the self titled for the next album after the debacle that was the astonishing.
