Rush  surprises everyone and performs at the 2019 Super Bowl. They only play three songs. Pick them . By the way I don’t care if the average American doesn’t know the song .
My 3. spirit of radio.animate . One little victory. Not in that order though

They would be play their three biggest "hits." You know they wouldn't go for any deep cuts. So it would be Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio, and either Limelight or Closer To The Heart.

If it were up to me, they'd play 2112 (the whole song), Hemispheres and La Villa. Because who cares when the second half of the football game starts.

My list might change if they had a guest vocalist.

I'll stick with the instrumentals in that case.

Yeah it would be TS, TSOR, and one of the other mega popular choices. But that would never happen for more reasons than I care to write out.

Closest they came to something like this was when they were due to play the Winter Olympic ceremony, I watched in anticipation of them appearing but to my disappointment it never happened. Later I saw an interview with Geddy where he said they were asked to mime to a backing track, to which a polite "that's not what we do" response was offered. If it was possible to have respected them any more I would've. :)

Dog Years, I Think I'm Going Bald and Tai Shan---just for the WTF look on every Rush fan's face. :LOLsign:

Seriously, it would likely be TS, TSOR and either Subdivisions or Limelight--although I'd love to see them get subversive and throw in The Big Money.

Since it my choice, I'd pick Limelight, The Trees, and Countdown.

The most fitting and in this order:
Limelight, Marathon, One Little Victory, 2112 Grand Finale bit

The most likely to happen and in this order:
The Spirit of Radio, Tom Sawyer, Limelight

Me being a greedy Rush bastard:
All of side 1 of 2112, All of side 1 of Hemispheres, La Villa Strangiato

I spit in the direction of Justin Timberlake!
