I went with the 2nd Rhythm Method, although Modern Drummer had the All The World's a Stage solo in it's top 10 (or something like that).

Well my favorite Officially released drum solo is from ESL. However, my favorite bootleg drum solo is definitly from the Presto tour. When I first saw it, I was absolutely blown away.

I thought the one from this tour with all the weird electronics was really cool, but on the list, I voted for YYZ's solo.

I want to choose the drumsolo from the snakes and arrows tour because this one sound very good and the jazz-end is awsome...
butt it's not in the list yet so I have to go with the rhythm method from different stages!!! NeilFinal.gif

Other than the double handed cross-overs he implemented later on, the solo on Exit...Stage Left is definitely his most exciting to this day in my opinion. It has far more energy. And I think it's definitely still the most challenging to play. He's all flying all over that kit and doing it way faster than any solo he did later on.

And the cowbell parts. Classic. That solo is what made me want to learn to play drums as a kid, so I guess I am a bit biased, but still. It's amazing.

The Rhythm Method, because O Baterista seems to drag on a bit when I listen to it sometimes.

Heh, I was going to come in here and vote for the ASOH "Rhythm Method" but then I saw I already voted over a year ago, for "O Baterista." Well, that probably is the one I enjoy the most overall, but ASOH was my intro to Rush so I'll always have a soft spot for it.

The Rhythm Method from A Show Of Hands... Even with the inclusion of solos from recent tours I still go for that one.
