Incredible.

I'm fine with a tie.
I'm not.

Tie broken.

Other than Don't Fear the Reaper and Godzilla (two 5-stars BOC tracks), the Cult doesn't do a lot for me.  Kansas has more going on.

For BOC to tie KANSAS.  Yes.

This Forum is a lot more smarter than I ever thought!  LOL!

18 BOC fans from around the world get it.

Amen.

ASTRONOMY WORKS!
They're crazy Earl!

Well you know I'm crazy Pat!!!

You know I love KANSAS!

But for my ears and my passion and how I was raised as a child it was always BOC first!!!

I remember sneaking out to my family room in Walnut Creek when I was a little boy to see some Midnight Show Live on TV!  It was BOC!!!!  I loved the "Godzilla" tune live!  It blew my young mind.  This was before I even knew about RUSH.  I think!
I don't know.
BOC is simply more hard rock. metal and melodic rock.  As a kid I never liked the violin or the sax in my prog or my rock.  Sorry.
It's how I was raised, and I found all of my music on my own.
My parents knew some big wig at CBS Records in the early 80's so my dad was given 100s of lps for free.  My parents liked music but didn't care.
For my young brain I was like a little kid in a rock and roll ear candy store!

I would spend hours and hours everyday listening to records.

I remember when I was little boy I picked up ELP's Brain Salad Surgery out of the crop just because the art looked cool.  Die Cut sleeve.  Giger art.  (figures I fell in love with ALIEN later)

But wow!  ELP blew my little mind away!!!

Its all how wet are raised I think.  Influenced.

I could write a book, but no one would buy it so instead I write on here.  LOL!!

Right now I am watching "Mamma Mia" the movie version.

I love ABBA.

Am I strange?

ABBA TO ZZ TOP

It's how you are brought up perhaps!

Love it all!

Carry On My Wayward Sons And Daughters!
When are you seeing ZZ Top again?

Pat!!

I have to go to sleep now but I have now idea about ZZ TOP!  I can only hope to see them one more time.

Amazing timing Pat!!

I just got my CDJAPAN confirmation!!!  My Japanese FIREPOWER DELUXE BLU SPEC CDS HAVE BEEN SHIPPED!!!!!  YES!!!!!
Shit they've not emailed me yet!

I ordered one blu spec and one regular edition.

CD JAPAN loves me Pat!!  I am the one who keeps the Japanese Economy Booming!!  LOL!!  I'm kidding!!

Don't worry buddy.  It will come soon.  Just like us when we finally listen to the new album!!!  ENOUGH TEASING!!!!

All of those Judas Priest teasers remind me of meeting a hot beautiful intellectual girl at a bar who doesn't smoke or do drugs.

IT'S ALL BULLSHIT AND A WASTE OF TIME!

I WANT THE REAL DEAL!

I WANT A REAL DEAL WOMAN!

WHEN?

Love you Pat!
Aye my order is on the way too Earl. Alleluia Alleluia the CDs are flying as Donald "Stillson" Trump would say...

Where's that pack of blondes Earl!??

Hahaha!  i'm drinking some tea before bedtime Pat.

I have many blondes.  All plutonic.  "That's Life" as Frank Sinatra would say.  Or even David Lee Roth.

My red vinyl is on the way too!

I prefer blonde vinyl Pat.
Oh yeah Earl I also ordered the cassette edition, I think it's 13 different versions all together. So they can take their time with the CD Japan ones it's ok.

I saw that cassette version.  I actually passed.  It's endless!!  I am happy with my CD BLU SPEC and vinyl variants!!
Once I saw the Saxon Thunderbolt cassette I knew if there was a Firepower one I'd have to have it! So I grabbed a copy!

This is very true.  I might give in!
I think there's still about 120 left.

Just picked up two.

Also bought the new Ryche cd early.  My name will be in the credits.
Great!

if I'd heard a kansas album before I'd heard albums by rush, yes, genesis, tull, etc I probably would like them more. I don't dig starcastle either - much prefer the newer yes tributes that have been touring under the "yes" moniker for the past decade

Much less 'metal' or much less 'ballsy' band (Kansas) should lose in this poll!  :D

I actually decided not to vote. I like both bands a lot but am not that familiar with the entire BOC catalog. Kansas I like more but I'm much more familiar with their albums. Both are very good though.
