Tough list. If I weren't convinced that Mercury is going to win, I might not have been able to vote my conscience and go with the man whose talents range from Helter Skelter to Maybe I'm Amazed.

 

Cornell actually might be my number 2.

If you want softer stuff, his recent solo work and some songs with audioslave cover that. He even had the balls to make that ill-advised Timbaland album.

 

Not many of these guys had the balls to work outside their comfort zone.

In all seriousness, at this point, Freddie leads by only four votes .. We had 34 voters casting votes in the semis, and exactly half that voting here a I write this ..

I'm glad Cornell made it to the finals, JCP is one of his most impressive vocals too.
