Where's the option for I didn't buy it, but I got it for Christmas?

Also I think it's awesome, if for the liner notes alone, plus the HUGE vinyl sleeve book.

I bought the three CD set ... Of course, the music is amazing, but three CDs with their amateurish artwork that looks like a checker set I had when I was 6 years old is enough for me .. Looking at that cover - LP size - with that circa 1998 Photoshop artwork would have been too much for me to handle ..

I don't know how Hugh Syme managed to complete that artwork without puking. This must be his revenge on Neil.

I bought it, but I haven't listened to it a whole lot. Meanwhile, I still would like a new album?

Needs a further option "I'm not buying it coz I don't need it, but it looks a decent package."

What kind?

The artwork should be the original artwork, why even waste time doing a new cover?

Yes I did! I'm enjoying my new AFTK themed slipmat it came with (though I may eventually go back to my Queen ADATR or my 2112 slipmat cuz the AFTK one isn't as stunning os those two). It also came with a cool skull ring (that smells kinda really bad so I'm keeping it on the necklace it came on and not on my finger, lol) and some other little goodies I don't quite recall atm. But yeah, the vinyl book is huge and looks awesome in my collection on my new LP shelves. The covers are interesting, and while DT plays it pretty safe on Xanadu and my reception is kinda lukewarm to it, the covers of Closer To The Heart and Cinderella Man are excellent and personalized renditions that I will revisit with glee. I for one don't have an issue with the art. While it's not the level of the original, it looks much better at LP size than it does in thumbnails or online, the animation style makes much more sense at the large size so you can feel the depth of the picture. As I said before, the liner notes booklet is phenomenal and just a pleasure to read the stories behind the making of my favorite Rush album (the echo room for Madrigal sounds more incredible in the description than it does on the record, lol). Love the artwork for each song in the book too.

Oh, and I've still yet to hear all of the live concert, but considering it's such a huge part of the package (over half the music here is that concert), I look heavily forward to it, heck, maybe I will right now.

Overall, very impressed and pleased with this set, the sheer size of it makes me feel kinda awesome for having it, lol.

I got the 3 disc set for the live tracks and the covers (yes, I like the covers), but I would love to hear the 5.1 mix.  I like the 5.1 from sectors, but Wilson is regarded as a genius in this field, and I’d like to hear what he did.  But I couldn’t justify the cost just for that.

I'd love to have Steven Wilson's 5.1 mix....  However, I don't need all the other stuff (most of which I previously purchased multiple times in various re-mastered forms and all the way back to the original vinyl) and can't justify the $$$ just for the 5.1 mix.  I'd be more than willing to shell out ~$25 for a stand-alone DVD of the 5.1, but otherwise, they will get $0.

not sure if I'm listening on the "right" system to really get the 5.1 experience, but the Blu-ray disc on my sound bar and subwoofer sounds excellent (I actually picked out just a couple of things I'd never heard in the mix before, like Geddy's little yelp in the middle of the solo section in CTTH). The artwork makes much more sense being all 3D and stuff as it's slightly animated and used as backing visuals for the music on the blu ray disc. Also the Cygnus animation is just kind of hilarious to watch. Very pleased with this part of the package as well.
