Testament- The Legacy (7/10)
Testament- The New Order (8/10)
Testament- Practice What You Preach (8/10)
Testament- Souls Of Black (8/10)
Testament- Low (9/10)

Probably my favourite thrash band, they are livening up a dull winter day for me.

That's a much higher rating than most fans would give to Low. I think from The Gathering onward Testament is best they've ever been. I'm not taking anything away from their old material but I just prefer them with the more aggressive approach they've had on their last four albums.

I've grown to love Low so much, that's definitely a personal rating. Overall, I agree with you, but if Low came from any other band it would be a massive favourite. Coming from Testament, well, it still is.

There isn't a single Testament album I have heard that I don't love, although The Legacy has never been a true classic to my ears. I think they got better with The New Order.

I might as well use this Testament marathon to get up to date with their recent material, which I've barely listened too.

Testament- Dark Roots Of Earth (10/10)

Gosh..............I didn't expect this to be possibly the greatest album of Testament's career! Played it a couple of times before, liked it, but listening too it now I am blown away! An entire day of Testament and this is by far the best I've heard yet!

Yeah it definitely gets my vote! Gosh I've loved my day today playing their entire discography, almost in order.

Not a bad album as far as I am concerned.

Need something less intense and more melodic after an entire day of thrash and black metal.

Not related to TGI, but I heard Mr. Roboto in the car with some friends the other day, and they asked me if the song was about something. I had a fun time trying to hastily explain the mess that is Kilroy Was here before I got dropped off on campus. lol.

Funny thing is.  i consider Styx a fav band.  but i can't STAND deyoung, lol.  like he's up there with my very least fav singers.

but when he was working WITH the band before he started dominating.....it worked SUPER well.

I loved him up to Kilroy. Despite writing the best songs on that album, he's pretty much responsible for the loads of garbage on there too, and the breakup that followed.
